Contemporary, Custom Residential
Our custom designed single-family residential work is a fully integrated service that includes both architecture and interior design. Our approach starts with the client's needs and grows into a well thought out, holistic and functional space. We observe. As the project progresses, we continue to study constraints, opportunities, and evolving requirements. We Communicate. This is the undisputed backbone to our process, touching every task in every phase. Our constant attention to communication ties the various parties together that help each other succeed. We Act. Our design style responds to each individual project but is rooted in the use of natural materials and natural light whenever possible to brighten our often rainy and cloudy Cascadian setting. Focusing on core design elements and depending on the project needs, a palette is built around these pieces to create calm, composed and highly effective spaces which can be inhabited and activated by the users own personality to make it fully theirs to call home.

For our commercial clients, we offer a comprehensive tenant improvement (TI) package where we use our many years of experience to ensure each project follows local building codes and bylaws while also clearly responding to our clients needs for a functional yet aesthetically pleasing space.

Masterplanning & Feasibility
Many projects require an evaluation at early stages to determine the best use of land, and assess development potential. By reviewing municipal planning guidelines, reviewing site characteristics and discussing market conditions with the client, we work through schematic planning and building massing concepts to assist our clients in understanding a project vision at early stages. Data extracted from these concept plans is used to assess a project’s economic viability early on, but also will help frame the development approvals process in terms of steps and timelines. Feasibility and masterplanning work will convert to real projects, and full architectural services with one of our design teams.
Interior Décor and FF&E
Whether it’s sourcing furniture and décor for an ongoing project we’re working on together or if you’re looking for a refresh in your office space, hotel lobby or home, we can put together packages that cater to your needs. Selections for projects can range from residential, commercial or corporate (and everything in between).
