Como Lake Avenue is being upgraded in anticipation of desirable densification. Existing low-density single family properties need to be reevaluated. The Como Lake apartment buildings are conceived as being located a stone’s throw from Como Lake, which is surrounded by a park. The development is composed of 3 apartment buildings - 2 rental and 1 market housing - connected with 2-storey, common lobbies. Space between a commercial corner in the East building and a detached daycare creates a pedestrian-friendly plaza and walkway that slopes down along a community garden toward Como Lake Park.
